Privacy Policy

Effective 24 September 2026

Console for Paperclip collects no data. Nothing you do in the app is sent to the developer or to any third party.

What the app stores, and where

The address of your Paperclip instance and, if you enter one, its API key are stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage. App preferences (such as notification and lock settings) are stored locally on the device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Who the app talks to

Only the Paperclip instance whose address you enter. That instance is run by you (or whoever operates it), not by the developer of this app, and its handling of data is governed by its operator. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs.

Notifications

Notifications are generated on your device by periodically checking your own instance. No push service operated by the developer is involved.

Biometrics

If you turn on the app lock, Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint authentication is performed by the operating system. The app never receives biometric data.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
